Unicaf University Signs MOU with the Zambia Institute of Marketing

Unicaf University in Zambia and the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM) have joined hands in a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held on 24th May, 2023. The event marked a significant milestone in fostering a robust and mutually beneficial relationship between the two esteemed institutions.

Notable attendees from Unicaf University included Dr Christine Mushibwe, Unicaf University Vice-Chancellor, Dr Lameck Mwewa, Unicaf DVC Academics, Mr Antony Chanda, Business Manager, Ms Rachel M. Sinyangwe, Marketing and Business Development Manager, Andrew Musonda, Marketing Officer, and Chipo Mabuto, Marketing Officer.

Representing ZIM were Mr Mwewa Besa, ZIM President, Ms Lute L. Mwelo, Registrar and CEO, Ms Inonge Chabala, Education Manager, and Ms Cynthia Chabala, Examinations Officer.

During the ceremony, Dr Christine Mushibwe extended a warm welcome to the attendees and emphasised the significance of nurturing the relationship between Unicaf University and ZIM.

Expressing gratitude for Unicaf University’s continuous support and accommodation, Mr Mwewa Besa, President of ZIM, highlighted the importance of a strong collaboration between the two organisations. He encouraged Unicaf’s Marketing Team to fully leverage the extensive ZIM membership database, extending an invitation to share materials and information through various platforms such as mailing lists, Facebook, Twitter, and more.

The MOU signing ceremony represents a significant milestone for both Unicaf University and the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM), symbolising their shared dedication to academic excellence, knowledge sharing, and the advancement of the education sector. Both institutions are optimistic about the potential benefits that will arise from this collaboration and eagerly anticipate a fruitful and mutually beneficial relationship.
