Organisation Structure

According to the Act the Institute is governed by an elected Council whose term of office is two years after which elections are held.

The Council serves as a policy making body while the implementation is undertaken by the full time staff who operate the established Secretariat.

The Council has created several Technical Committees that have specific mandates and responsibilities and act as the advisory unit of the Council.
